SMRpodcast, Episode #245, has been recorded, posted online, and is ready for download. Â This week we've got a full crew with Robb, Rod, and Chris, but, it feels like 6 or 7 people were on the line because Chris's ego was swollen after making an appearance on the Daily Tech News Show (DTNS) with Tom Merritt.
We start the show off with talk of Rod's new snow blower that he bought at the beginning of the winter and how handily it tackled the 12 to 15 inches snow the DC area was recently blasted with.
We also talk about about Gemalto being breached by NSA and GCHQ hacks and the lack of security on Lenovo laptops because of the ridiculously insecure bloatware they install on their personal computer lines.
We touch on the state of die-hard Windows phone users and how long they may have to wait before seeing the next flagship Windows Phone. Â Robb also ask the question of if Microsoft will be able to get developers to develop mobile apps for Windows 10.
Chris admits that Google Hangouts works pretty well, an AI masters 49 Atari 2600 games without being given any instructions, and, Microsoft discontinues Facebook and Google chat in Outlook.com. Â We've got all this, our picks, and more in episode #245 of the SRMpodcast.
