SMRPodcast #216: Chicken Wings And Beer Part 21

smrpodcast 216

SMRpodcast episode #216 has been recorded, posted online, and is ready for download.  This week it is just the big fella and Robb so with hit you with Chicken Wings and Beer Part 21.

We start the show off this week with talk of Chris's new battery powered lawn mower.  He was so excited to pick his new gadget that he headed over to Home Depot to grab it within minutes of returning from vacation.
We talk a bit about the rumored 4.7 inch iPhone 6 screen which is made of sapphire crystal glass.  This is the same material which protects the camera lens on the iPhone 5s, and, according to Apple, is more scratch resistant Gorilla Glass.
BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) hits the Windows Phone Store.  Robb thinks that if there is to be any future for BlackBerry, it will be in software and not handsets.  3rd party OEMs are now making BlackBerry 10 handsets and Robb wouldn't be shocked if BlackBerry eventually stops making their own hardware.
Google Drive 2.0 comes with a fresh new interface, Microsoft ponders making Windows Phone run Android Apps, and, and a Samsung facility in the Brazil gets jack for $36 million dollars worth of merchandise.  We've got all this, our picks, and more in episode #216 of the SMRpodcast.
