SMRpodcast #511: Oh, My Bad

Episode #411 of the SMRpodcast is online and ready for download.  Robb's back from vacation, so, we have a full crew this week to cover a few recent tech stories like Nikola founder Trevor Milton being freed on a $100 million dollar bail after being arrested for fraud for allegedly lying about everything at the electric- and hydrogen-powered truck startup.

Speaking of lying, Zoom is reached an $85 million dollar settlement for misleading customers on how secure its platform is, and, for sell users' data to Facebook and Google without consent.  I guess, technically, Zoom didn't lie about sell users' data, they just never told users that this is what it was doing.

Arguably the biggest tech story this week was Microsoft reaching max capacity of free trials of its new Windows 365 streaming desktop service in less than 24 hours because of the demand.  It would appear that Microsoft may have a hit on its hands when it comes to how businesses and enterprises will deploy desktop OSes to users in the future.

We've got all this, our picks, and more in episode #411 of the SMRpodcast.
