SMRPodcast #222: You Just Need One Reason

SMRpodcast episode #222 is online and ready for download.  We have a full crew for the second week in row and Chris, Robb, and Rod jump right into it.

Time Warner Cable had a massive nationwide internet outage on Wednesday that affected more than 11 million residential and business customers.  If there is a problem with the internet, chances are Robb will be affected by it, and this time was no exception.
Facebook is going to start displaying less “click bait” which takes it's users outside of Facebook's walled garden.  Everyone agrees that a less crappy feed is better for users and for Facebook, but, Robb and Rod debate how much work users are willing, or, not willing to put into making their feeds better.
The Coolest cooler has displaced the Pebble smart watch as the must successful Kickstarter ever, with over 50,000 backers and more that $10 million raised.  Let's just say that there are differences in opinion on how good of an idea the Coolest is, or, isn't'.
WhatsApp Messenger crosses the 600 million monthly active user mark, a Windows 9 preview is coming out soon,  Apple is coming out with a 12.9 inch iPad, and NC State students invent nail polish that detects drugs.  We've got all this, our picks, and more in episode #222 of the SMRpodcast.
